The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) is pleased to offer an
AACOM-Sponsored Discount Moving Service Program through an agreement with
Premier Transfer and Storage, Inc., an agent for Mayflower Transit,
to those within the osteopathic medical education community.
The key benefits of the sponsorship moving service are:
- Best available discount level based on time of move, origin/destination, and weight of shipment*
- Open to:
- all osteopathic medical students, interns, residents, administrative officers, staff, faculty members, alumni, family members, and others working within the osteopathic medical education community and
- all those who are affiliated with non-osteopathic undergraduate, graduate, and advanced degree programs within your institution, including students, interns, residents, administrative officers, staff, faculty members, alumni, and family members of those non-osteopathic degree programs.
- One point of contact for all AACOM member questions and needs (see contact information below)
- Ability to tailor each move to individual needs
- Covers all interstate* moving needs, international moves, moving of vehicles, boats, etc.
- Offers packing, crating, unpacking, and storage, among other services
*Discount only applies to interstate (state-to-state) moves. Discounts range from 52% to 64% (May 15 – September 11) and 60% - 65% (September 12 – May 14); minimum weight requirement by Mayflower of 2,100 lbs. on most shipments.
