James Cimino & Suzanne Bakken.

New England Journal of Medicine
March 3, 2005, Vol. 352, Issue #9.

Review by: Scott Helf, D.O. <shelf@westernu.edu>

Drs. Cimino and Bakken narratively describe how PDAs (Personal Digital Assitants) are used in the training and practice of medical and nursing personnel at Columbia University. They also cite the expense of supporting PDAs at $100,000 per 100 residents annually, and emphasize the need for administrative support via monetary, logistic, woflow, and curruicular planning means.
