Welcome to AACOM’s Core Competency Liaison Group! With the onset of the core competency requirements being applied to medical students, AACOM has been assisting COMs both individually and in work groups to advance the competencies in osteopathic medical education. Over the last few years, many groups have been created to work on various aspects of the competencies and many individuals have been working hard to develop core competency projects at their schools.
This website has been created so that all members of the osteopathic medical education community may take advantage of what others have done, are working on, or wish to collaborate on for the various core competencies. Feel free to contact any of the people listed on these pages. They have been identified by their COMs as the point person in their area and are willing to share information with you!
