Hello! My name is Adam Davis, and I am an OMS-III at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM). My involvement in student government began early in my OMS-I year when I was elected to serve as Vice President for the Class of 2019 and later served as SGA Vice President for the 2016-2017 school year. I began serving on the COSGP general council in July 2016, and I’m excited and honored to serve as your National Treasurer this year. In my pre-clinical years at MU-COM, I served as MU-COM’s MHATF ambassador and helped to bring the Save400 campaign to our campus. I have a passion for promoting wellness among students and have worked to improve transparency and communication between MU-COM’s SGA and the student body.
I’ve been a Hoosier all my life, born and raised in a rural town in northern Indiana called Argos. I then graduated from Butler University in 2014 with my Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in neuroscience and chemistry. Fun fact, I drove all the way to Houston, TX to see my Butler Bulldogs play in the NCAA championship game back in 2011 (Go Dawgs!). I then attended IUPUI and received my Master of Science in 2015. Since graduating, I have remained active in serving the Indianapolis community by serving as the Chapter Advisor for Service and Philanthropy for my local Phi Delta Theta chapter.
I’m most excited to work with such an amazing group of student leaders on the COSGP Eboard and General Council this year. My personal leadership style is to be a servant leader who puts the needs of others first to grow and foster leadership qualities in those around me. When we build each other up, we all succeed! I’m looking forward to a great year.
