My name is Ashley Sam and I am a 4th year student at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. I hail from the great state of New Jersey and as so many NJ kids do I earned my bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University where I studied Cell Biology and Neuroscience as well as Evolutionary Anthropology. Now that the majority of my medical school days are behind me, I look forward to pursuing a career in pediatrics.
I am beyond excited to be serving as your National 1st Vice Chair this year. Over the past year I have come to really fall in love with COSGP and the advocacy that it does on behalf of all osteopathic medical students. As a member of the executive board I look forward to working with all of you to hone your leadership skills and help you bring the amazing energy from our national conferences back to your local campuses.
If you ever need anything throughout the year, please don’t hesitate to reach out! I my listening ear and helping hands are always available to you.
All the best,
