My name is Emilie Pinto and I am an OMS III at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. I graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Microbiology from Clemson University in 2014. I spent my gap year before medical school working as a Chiropractic Assistant and as Assistant to the Medical Director at Lackey Free Clinic in Yorktown, Virginia.
I am honored and humbled to take on the role of National Secretary after my year of serving the students at CUSOM as Student Government President. Being involved in COSGP empowered me to be a stronger leader, a dedicated advocate, and a more resilient person. I am excited to empower this council as the last council empowered me. My responsibilities for my position include keeping the council organized, to facilitate communication within the council, and to oversee the Student Doctor of the Year Award application and selection process.
Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with. I am thrilled to see what the council will do this year!
