National Clinical Education Representative
Hello and welcome to the COSGP family!
My name is Laura Gurenlian and I am a fourth-year osteopathic medical student at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM). I received my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Ursinus College and then completed my Masters in Biomedical Sciences at UMDNJ’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Through the American College of Sports Medicine, I also became a certified personal training.
I am a Jersey girl born and raised. While others spent their summers down the shore, I grew up working on my grandparents peach farm, playing basketball and softball, and becoming an avid reader. My Italian and Armenian heritages have instilled in me the importance of hard work, family, and of course good food!
For the past two years I have served as a general council member of COSGP representing RowanSOM and am honored to be serving as the National Clinical Education Representative for my final year. It is my goal this year to create awareness and provide solutions to issues regarding clinical education. I am excited to begin and happy to help in any way I can so please don’t hesitate to contact me!
