National Diversity Representative
Hello! My name is Zuri Hudson and I am a third-year osteopathic medical student at Lincoln Memorial Univeristy-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM). I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology at Georgia Institute of Technology, Go Jackets! In my spare time, I enjoy reading James Patterson novels, spending time with beautiful niece and nephew, and making it home to Georgia whenever I can.
I’ve had the amazing opportunity to serve on General Council for the last year and as LMU-DCOM’s SGA President. During my time as SGA President, I focused on mental health awareness and cultural empowerment. Through this DCOM Strong, a mental health initiative and committee, was formed along with a Diversity Chair position on our SGA executive board.
I could not be more excited to serve as COSGP’s National Diversity in the coming year and look forward to working with and learning alongside all of you. The ambition and passion to serve and better the osteopathic medical profession is on fire within COSGP; to be a part of a group so empowering is truly humbling. I will be focused on expanding and redefining our definition of diversity while homing in on cultural awareness, sensitivity, and empowerment!
Please do not hesitate to contact me if there’s anything you need, just want to chat, or want someone to tell you how outstanding you are. Email me at COSGPDiveristyRep@aacom.org. This is going to be a year to remember and I can’t wait to spend it with y’all!
