In order to participate in this pre-medical conference, participants must register. Early registration is encouraged to reserve a space in this day-long program, as space is limited. The deadline for registration is June 14, 2013. Goals for this event are: To familiarize pre-medical students and pre-medical advisors with osteopathic medicine. To acquaint pre-medical students and pre-medical advisors with the admissions requirements, program of study and student life the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine offers. To provide pre-medical students and pre-medical advisors the opportunity to interact with osteopathic physicians and to hear presentations on topics related to the practice of osteopathic medicine. The NIH Graduate and Professional School Fair will be held from 9:00am – 3:00pm at the Natcher Conference Center, provides an opportunity for all college students to prepare for the next step in their careers by exploring educational programs leading to the PhD, DO, DDS, DO/PhD, MD and other graduate and professional degrees. More than 100 outstanding colleges and universities from across the U.S. will be sending representatives of their graduate schools, medical and dental schools, schools of public health, and other biomedically relevant programs to the Fair in the hopes of recruiting pre-health students.
