RowanSOM is proud to serve as a host site for the Fall 2014 Student National Medical Association’s (SNMA) National Leadership Institute September 5-7, 2014! This conference will include networking opportunities, a Research Forum, clinical skills workshops, and prestigious speakers. This is a perfect opportunity for residency programs to meet and speak with up to 300 medical students. All exhibitors will be invited to lunch at 1:30pm, and the event will run from 4pm – 7pm. WesternU COMP’s Residency Fair is an opportunity for hospitals/residency locations from around the country to introduce themselves to our DO students and for the students to learn what their options might be as they prepare to apply for residency programs. The fair is geared primarily to our 3rd year students (attendance is mandatory for them), but our 1st, 2nd, and 4th year students are also invited and encouraged to participate. Usually 300—400 COMP DO students attend. For registration, pls go to http://www.westernu.edu/osteopathic/outreach/hospital-day/ We typically have 15-25 residency site locations participate and The cost to participating sites is $50, but that fee is waived for OPTI-West members.
