Earlier this month Boyd Buser, DO, Dean and Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean at the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (UP-KYCOM), announced his intention to retire this summer. He has served as dean for UP-KYCOM for the last ten years and is the school’s second dean. Dr. Buser has worked diligently to promote the college’s mission and will be missed by the UP-KYCOM community.
Dr. Buser most recently served as President of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) from 2016-2017. He has also served as the Interim Vice President and Dean of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM).
