The annual Generalists in Medical Education conference, hosted by
The University of Toledo College of Medicine, will be held Thursday, November 2 and Friday, November 3, 2017
in Boston, Massachusetts. The conference theme, “Collaboration for Innovation,” is about fostering collaborative efforts to support innovation in medical education. We are excited to have LuAnn Wilkerson, EdD
, Associate Dean for Evaluation and Faculty Development, from The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, as our keynote speaker.
The Generalists in Medical Education is successful because of your willingness to share professional accomplishments and educational research. Please consider submitting a proposal. Residents and students may also submit a proposal and/or attend at a discounted rate. The Generalists offers descriptive presentations, panel discussions, roundtable forums, problem-solving sessions, digital posters, skill acquisition opportunities, and Pecha Kucha sessions. We are, however, open to novel and innovative presentation formats. You may submit proposals via the Generalists in Medical Education website
. The website describes the variety of presentation formats in more detail and provides suggestions for writing good proposals. As you prepare your presentation, please keep in mind the conference theme and that active participation is emphasized for group sessions.
Proposals must be submitted electronically on the website no later than 11:59 pm (EST) on May 15, 2017
. Also, please consider volunteering to help review proposals. You may express your interest by email to email@example.com
