Dr. Ross-Lee Delivers A.T. Still Memorial Lecture at AOA Annual Business Meeting

Barbara Ross-Lee, DO, Vice President for Health Sciences, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology, recently delivered the A.T. Still Memorial Lecture at the American Osteopathic Association’s (AOA) Annual Business Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. Her lecture, “Osteopathic Medicine: Lead or Follow,” encouraged osteopathic physicians to carry on Andrew Taylor Still’s vision by practicing osteopathic manipulative techniques and utilizing osteopathic principles in everyday life. She named primary care access, global recognition, and other opportunities for the osteopathic medical profession to distinguish itself by practicing innovative medicine. Dr. Ross-Lee’s vision is, “that we are the medical profession that produces physicians who serve people of this nation and the world better. Let’s do it.” View a video clip of Dr. Ross-Lee’s lecture on the AOA website.
