Proposals for the 2012 AACOM Research Grants Program are now being accepted. Grants will be awarded in medical education research and institutional research categories. Each grant is for a period of 18 months, and applicants must be educators at colleges of osteopathic medicine, including the colleges’ OPTI programs.
A recent generous grant from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation has allowed AACOM to increase its grant offerings – researchers are invited to request up to $10,000 for collaborative research projects, or may request funding of up to $5,000 for single-campus research or smaller collaborative studies. Proposals are due by February 24, 2012.Notification of the awarded grants will be released March 19, 2012.
