Plan now to attend AACOM’s 2012 Annual Meeting, to be held March 28-31, 2012, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. The conference will focus on "Building Healthy Behaviors: Medical Education for Prevention and Change," with sessions that explore how best to transform future physicians into change agents who can have real and lasting impact on the behaviors of their patients.
Confirmed keynote speakers for the conference include: Richard H. Carmona, MD, MPH, FACS, 17th Surgeon General of the United States (2002-2006); Vice Chairman, Canyon Ranch; President, Canyon Ranch Institute; and Distinguished Professor, Zuckerman College of Public Health, University of Arizona; and Scott Kahan, MD, MPH, faculty member at George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and staff member at Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center and the George Washington University Weight Management Program.
The Annual Meeting call for presentations has closed, and the nearly 100 proposals are sure to generate a rich conference program.
