Building Healthy Behaviors: Medical Education for Prevention and Change will be held March 28-31 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC. Confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Richard H. Carmona, MD, MPH, FACS, 17th Surgeon General of the United States (2002-2006); Vice Chairman, Canyon Ranch; President, Canyon Ranch Institute; and Distinguished Professor, Zuckerman College of Public Health, University of Arizona
- Scott Kahan, MD, MPH, faculty member at George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; staff member at Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center and the George Washington University Weight Management Program; and practicing physician
The meeting also will include a special evening at the U.S. Botanic Gardens, featuring a special address by event host the Honorable Joe Heck, DO, and sponsored by the American Osteopathic Association.
