Starting in July 2012, the Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholars and Fellows Program will be known as the Global Health Program for Fellows and Scholars.
Applications are not currently being accepted, but individuals choosing to apply for the class of 2012-2013 should prepare to apply very early on, as these fellowships are generally career-defining experiences. Applicants must be doctoral students or post-doctoral candidates.
Accepted individuals will have the opportunity to complete a one-year mentored clinical research training experience in health-related professions from the U.S. and low- and middle-class income countries, as defined by the World Bank.
