On March 28, in conjunction with its 2012 Annual Meeting, AACOM will host COM Day on Capitol Hill.  Teams of registrants from participating colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs), which will be determined by each respective school’s dean, will meet with federal legislators and their staffs to discuss issues of importance to osteopathic medical education.  Each team will be composed of a maximum of five participants.  COM Day attendees will attend a morning legislative briefing on pre-identified issues, followed by meetings on Capitol Hill. In the weeks ahead, AACOM will be working with the Board of Deans to register the COM teams, which may include administrators, faculty and students.
