AACOM President and CEO Stephen C. Shannon, DO, MPH, was published in the April 2012 edition of the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA). Associate VP for Medical Education Speaks at AMOPS Annual Meeting
AACOM Associate Vice President for Medical Education Tyler Cymet, DO, recently participated in the Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (AMOPS) Annual Meeting, leading a lecture on military - civilian cooperation and medical issues amongst military personnel. During his talk, Dr. Cymet described the current medical challenges military personnel, veterans and their families are facing, and ways in which medical educators can make a difference through the White House Joining Forces Initiative.
AACOM Associate Director of Application Services Serves as Panelist for Kaplan MCAT Preparation Webcast
AACOM Associate Director of Application Services Gina Moses, MEd, recently participated in a live online panel discussion, the “2012 Medical School Insider,” hosted by Kaplan. The five-person expert panel discussed medical school admissions, offered tips on writing a personal statement, and provided advice for MCAT preparation. The 2012 Medical School Insider broadcast took place on May 7, 2012, with more than 2,300 “attendees.”
