The International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine (IJOM) has announced its call for papers for a special upcoming issue on osteopathic medical education (OME). Educators, academics, practitioners and students are invited to submit papers focused on a variety of topics such as outcomes of adopting new strategies of OME delivery, evaluation of OME programs, educational theory, technology and OME, etc. All manuscripts will be reviewed by Tyler Cymet, DO, AACOM Associate Vice President for Medical Education; and Stephen Tyreman, DO, MA, PhD, Dean of Osteopathic Education Development and Professor of Osteopathy and Philosophy at the British School of Osteopathy, guest editors of the IJOM special OME edition. Manuscripts will also be subject to the IJOM peer review process.
