The Fifth Annual AAMC Integrating Quality Meeting: Improving Value and Educating for Quality will be held June 6-7 at the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois. Confirmed keynote speakers include Peter Pronovost, MD, PhD, Senior Vice President for Patient Safety and Quality and Director of the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Gary Kaplan, MD, Chairman and CEO of the Virginia Mason Health System. Participating health care professionals, educators, medical students, and trainees can expect an interactive and interprofessional forum to discuss team-based strategies for enhancing the culture of quality in clinical care and health professions education. Nicholas G. Parise, DO, MS, Associate Dean for Postdoctoral Education and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University (CCOM/MWU) will represent AACOM again at this year's meeting.
