The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) has just announced its upcoming Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Interprofessional Faculty Development Institute to be held January 12-15 at the Dulles Hyatt in Herndon, VA.

Registration for this event opens Wednesday, December 4. Those interested in attending are encouraged to begin assembling their teams now, as registration fills quickly. If you would like to receive an alert when registration opens, visit here.

The overall goal of this upcoming institute is to create faculty champions to enhance interprofessional curricula and student learning experiences in quality improvement and patient safety at the point of care, through team-focused activities designing an institutional-based project. IPEC is comprised of six organizations, including AACOM, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), the American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH).
