The Health Policy Fellowship is now accepting applications for 2014-2015. Applications and letters of recommendation must be submitted by June 13.

The fellowship is a certificate program designed to prepare practicing or teaching osteopathic physicians, as well as individuals with a professional connection to the osteopathic profession, for leadership roles in the osteopathic medical community and influential positions in health policy. The 12 applicants inducted into the 2014-2015 program will represent the 21st class of Health Policy Fellows.

The New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT-COM) and the Ohio University-Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM) coordinate this program through collaboration with the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), AACOM, and other AACOM member colleges.

Each class of fellows attends an intensive five-day academic orientation, followed by nine three-day weekend seminars. Osteopathic colleges across the nation and the AACOM and AOA Washington, DC area offices host the seminars.
