The IOM Anniversary Fellowship in Osteopathic Medicine Call for Nominations is Open

The Institute of Medicine (IOM) is currently seeking nominations for its new Anniversary Fellowship in Osteopathic Medicine, a fellowship opportunity to support the advancement of emerging leaders in osteopathic medical education. Each Fellowship will be awarded for a two-year period, during which time the Fellow is expected to continue working in their current academic position. Each Fellow is assigned to an IOM member who will serve as a senior mentor for the duration of the Fellowship.

Nominated candidates should be in the early stages of their osteopathic medical careers. For more information, see AACOM’s IOM Anniversary Fellowship in Osteopathic Medicine webpage. (Updates to this program are happening in real time—be sure to check the webpage frequently.)

AACOM, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), and the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) are working together to fund and sustain this program, and will participate in the final nomination process after the application cycle closes.

Questions about the nomination and selection process should be directed to Marie Michnich, IOM Director of Health Policy Educational Program and Fellowships, at 202-334-1506 or
