AACOM will hold its 2014 COM Day on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, April 2, in conjunction with its 2014 Annual Conference in Washington, DC. The event will consist of a full day of meetings between deans and their selected teams from each participating college of osteopathic medicine (COM) and their representing congressional offices to discuss issues of importance to osteopathic medical education. Each COM team will be led by the dean and may be composed of up to four other individuals from their COM.

An invitation-only welcome dinner for COM Day teams will take place on Tuesday, April 1, and participants will attend a morning legislative breakfast briefing on COM Day prior to their scheduled congressional meetings. The briefing will provide attendees with an overview of advocacy techniques and the legislative issues they will be discussing during their meetings on Capitol Hill.
