Nation's COMs Celebrate 2014 Commencements 

A.T. Still University–Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) held its 178th commencement ceremony on May 17 at the Truman State University Campus in Kirksville, MO. Tarah L. Castleberry, DO, MPH, Kirksville Osteopathic Alumni Association Board of Directors, delivered the commencement address.  
A.T. Still University–School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) celebrated the commencement of its third graduating class June 6 at the J.W. Marriott hotel in Phoenix, AZ.

Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University (AZCOM/MWU)
celebrated its 2014 class of graduating DOs at a commencement ceremony held May 28 at the Midwestern University Glendale Campus.

Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine of Midwestern University (CCOM/MWU)
honored its graduating osteopathic medical students at a commencement ceremony on May 23 on its campus in Downers Grove, IL.

Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine (DMU-COM)
conducted its 114th commencement ceremony May 24 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA. DMU President Angela L. Walker Franklin, PhD, conferred the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees.

Georgia Campus - Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (GA-PCOM)
held its graduation ceremony on June 28 at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA.

Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCUMB-COM)
conferred the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees to graduating students during its 128th graduation ceremony on May 17.

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) held its 18th commencement ceremony on June 1 at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, PA. At the event, 371 Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees were conferred.

 Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Bradenton Campus (LECOM-Bradenton) conducted its seventh graduation ceremony June 8 at the Bradenton Area Convention Center in Palmetto, FL. One hundred and fifty-five students received their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees.

Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM)
celebrated the commencement of its fourth graduating class on May 10 in Harrogate, TN.

Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSU-COM) held a commencement ceremony for its nearly 300 osteopathic medical school graduates May 1 on the MSU campus. Dr. William G. Anderson, MSU-COM Senior Advisor to the Dean and Clinical Professor of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties delivered the commencement address.

Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) held its 2014 commencement ceremony May 18 at the Don Taft University Center on the NSU main campus.
New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT-COM) held its 53rd commencement ceremony May 19 at the Long Island University Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Greenvale, NY. NYIT President Edward Guiliano, PhD, conferred degrees and delivered the keynote speech.

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (OSU-COM) held its 2014 graduation May 16 at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center in Broken Arrow, OK.

Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM)
held its 35th commencement on May 10. Robert Juhasz, DO, President of Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital and AOA President-elect delivered the commencement address.

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) graduated its 2014 class of osteopathic medical students at the school’s 124th commencement ceremony on June 1.

Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences- College of Osteopathic Medicine (PNWU-COM) held a commencement ceremony at the Capitol Theatre in Yakima, WA on May 10 for the its third graduating class.

Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) honored the members of its third graduating class of osteopathic medical students at a commencement ceremony on May 17.

Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – New York (TouroCOM-NY) held its 2014 graduation ceremony on June 2.

Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine – California (TUCOM-CA) held its 14th graduation on May 23 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco, CA.

Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUNCOM) held its 2014 commencement ceremony on May 18 at the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) conducted its graduation ceremony on May 15. Arthur S. Levine, MD, Senior Vice Chancellor for the Health Sciences and the John and Gertrude Petersen Dean at the University of Pittsburgh Schools of the Health Sciences delivered the keynote address.

University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) held its 2014 commencement ceremony on May 17. During the ceremony, 122 students received their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees. Angus S. King, Jr., United States Senator for Maine, and Wesley McNair, American poet, delivered the keynote speeches.

University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at Fort Worth (UNTHSC/TCOM) held its 2014 graduation on May 16.

University of Pikeville- Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine (UP-KYCOM) held its commencement ceremony for its 76 graduates on May 17 in Pikeville, KY.

Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Virginia Campus (VCOM-VC) held its eighth commencement ceremony June 10 on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, VA.
Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (Western U/COMP) held its 2014 commencement ceremony on May 16.

West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) hosted its 37th commencement ceremony on May 31 at the WVSOM campus in Lewisburg, WV.
William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCU-COM) held its inaugural graduation ceremony on May 24 on the WCU-COM campus in Hattiesburg, MS. Ninety-four students received their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees.
