PCOM Announces New President and CEO On March 25, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) announced Jay S. Feldstein, DO, as the college’s new President and Chief Executive Officer. He will assume the position’s full responsibilities on July 1. Dr. Feldstein is a PCOM Class of 1981 alumnus of PCOM. In his new role, Dr. Feldstein succeeds Matthew Schure, PhD, who announced his resignation from PCOM in February 2013.
PNWU-COM Appoints Dean On March 6, the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences announced the appointment of Thomas A. Scandalis, DO, as Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine. This announcement is the result of a national search that began in July 2013 after the resignation of Robyn Phillips-Madson, DO, MPH. Dr. Scandalis has been serving as the college’s Interim Dean since September 2013. Prior to his appointment as PNWU-COM Interim Dean, Dr. Scandalis served as Dean of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT-COM).
