Nomination Cycle Open for COSGP Awards

Student Researcher of the Year Award

The Student Researcher of the Year (SROY) award recognizes osteopathic medical students with highly-competitive and advanced experiences in clinical, translational, or basic science research. Osteopathic medical student researchers are nominated for the SROY Award by each COM, from which the national winner is chosen. The national awardee is selected by osteopathic student leaders and research faculty members, and is based on the student’s contributions to osteopathic research that align with the mission of both the osteopathic profession and COSGP—to advance the philosophy, practice, and science of osteopathic medicine. Apply now for the SROY award or watch the informational video for more details.

Outstanding Advancement in Osteopathic Medical Education Award (OAOME)

The Outstanding Advancement in Osteopathic Medical Education (OAOME) award recognizes colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs) who have instituted a curricular or programmatic enhancement that embraces the osteopathic philosophy, strengthens the DO student experience, and advances osteopathic medical education. Nominations are submitted by students to highlight the educational efforts of their home institutions. The award-winning institution is selected by the COSGP Medical Education Committee based on the quality of the program and its effect on osteopathic medical students. Apply now for the OAOME award or watch the informational video for more details.
