SIG Mission Statement:
To collaboratively strive toward quality and consistency in the COM students’ clinical experiences (3rd & 4th years)
Within the above mission, what specific objectives can best be accomplished by collaborative efforts:
- Sharing test (bank) questions
- Collaborate on:
- students evaluation/grade forum
- rotational objectives template
- rotation calendar schedule
Specific Goals to be Accomplished:
- Collect currently available test questions to establish a database
- Database managed by AACOM?
- Security of test bank – How to share with COMs?
Initial action steps to be taken:
- Get each participating school’s test banks for consolidation (with AACOM?)
- Share/pass around objectives fore all core rotations from all participating schools to begin next year to develop “standard” objectives as a template for all COMs
- Share grade-evaluation forms to discuss next year
- Share site evaluation/log forms and procedures
