SIG Mission Statement:

To collaboratively strive toward quality and consistency in the COM students’ clinical experiences (3rd & 4th years)

Within the above mission, what specific objectives can best be accomplished by collaborative efforts:

  • Sharing test (bank) questions
  • Collaborate on:
    • students evaluation/grade forum
    • rotational objectives template
    • rotation calendar schedule

Specific Goals to be Accomplished:

  • Collect currently available test questions to establish a database
  • Database managed by AACOM?
  • Security of test bank – How to share with COMs?

Initial action steps to be taken:

  • Get each participating school’s test banks for consolidation (with AACOM?)
  • Share/pass around objectives fore all core rotations from all participating schools to begin next year to develop “standard” objectives as a template for all COMs
  • Share grade-evaluation forms to discuss next year
  • Share site evaluation/log forms and procedures
