The Board of Deans work to develop academic policies, provide for studies, programs and activities in areas important to osteopathic medical education. They also provide a discussion where information and concerns regarding osteopathic medical education can be interchanged among institutional representatives, and they develop divisions and sections where the base of AACOM can be broadened to include all arms of the osteopathic profession interested and concerned with osteopathic medical education.
