Join your colleagues who have a commitment to providing international learning experiences for students. This collaborative has a listserv where you can share items of interest (e.g. templates, learning objectives and discuss issues regarding education in international settings.
AACOM's International Collaborative facilitates and provides structure for educational efforts occurring at colleges of osteopathic medicine around global health and international rotations. There is a lot of excitement about global health, and there is a lot of activity at our schools to establish sites for our students to study and be exposed to health care in international settings.
The Collaborative is a group of people connected to the practice of osteopathic medicine and our colleges who have an interest in promoting, practicing and being involved with international health from an educational perspective and beyond.
This collaborative always meets at the AACOM Annual Meeting. Details for this year's meeting:
