Registration is now open for the 2009 annual meeting of the Association of Osteopathic Military Physicians and Surgeons (AMOPS), to be held May 2 – 5 in Jacksonville, FL.
AMOPS was established in 1977 to serve and represent osteopathic physicians in the uniformed services. The organization focuses on the unique aspects of practice in the uniformed services by the more than 2,200 osteopathic physicians meeting our nation's military and federal medical needs throughout the world.
Annual meeting topics will include medico-legal issues, OMM, deployment medicine, and military branch-specific overviews by Osteopathic Flag Officers.
Osteopathic medical students are especially welcome; there is no registration fee for students. For more information on AMOPS and its annual meeting, visit http://www.amops.org/meetings.html.
