Applications to Osteopathic Medical Colleges Continue to Increase 

As of December 12, 10,766 applicants had submitted their AACOMAS applications for the 2009 entering classes at the nation’s colleges of osteopathic medicine.  The number of applicants is up 7.79 percent over this time last year, and broke 10,000 a full month ahead of last year.  On average, each applicant had submitted 6.5 applications to colleges.
