Osteopathic Medical School Faculty Member Featured in National Debate Involving JAMA

Over the past two weeks, a Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) faculty member has been featured in the press because of his role in what has become a nationally aired incident involving the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). The American Medical Association has recently asked an oversight committee to investigate charges that JAMA’s editors threatened Dr. Johnathan Leo, an LMU-DCOM professor who publicly questioned a study published in JAMA. The controversy originally surfaced in a Wall Street Journal article.
