Dr. Marc Hahn to Serve as AAMC-AACOM Scholar-in-Residence 

Dr. Marc HahnThe Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), Washington, DC, and the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), Chevy Chase, MD, have announced that Marc B. Hahn, DO, will serve as a Scholar-in-Residence for both organizations.

In this first-ever joint position for the organizations that represent the nation’s two types of medical schools (MD- and DO-granting institutions), Dr. Hahn will be exploring issues suitable for intra-professional collaboration in areas related to undergraduate medical education, graduate medical education, accreditation, assessment of competencies and the supply of physicians. 

In the past, Dr. Hahn served as dean of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine of the University of North Texas Health Science Center; a professor and division chief at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine; and a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow.
