AACOM Featured at Old PreMeds Meeting

The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) was featured during this year’s national conference of The National Society for Nontraditional Premedical & Medical Students, Inc., better known as Old PreMeds, a non-profit, professional/pre-professional society and educational society for nontraditional students who seek to become physicians.

This year’s conference attracted more than 100 traditional and nontraditional students from around the country, who attended the June 11-13 conference in Crystal City, Virginia.  A packed audience heard Gina M. Moses, MEd, Associate Director of Application Services, present on the 2010 AACOMAS application, which was launched on May 1, and on the significant changes to the application and the demographics of the COM applicant pool, which has seen significant growth over the last three years.
