The American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) recently announced its Student Initiatives Grant program, which provides funding to support student-administered projects/programs that promote osteopathic medicine and the profession. Any osteopathic medical student organization at a COCA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine is eligible to apply for a grant of up to $1,000.
The project/program must focus on one of the following: Back to Basics – embracing the tenets of osteopathic principles and practice; Fit for Life – promoting health and wellness within the profession; Patient Centered Quality Care – striving to give patients the best medical care; or Pride in the Profession – promoting osteopathic medicine and the profession.
