Humayun J. Chaudhry, DO, MS, has been named President and CEO of the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), effective in October. Dr. Chaudhry, immediate Past President of the Association of Osteopathic Directors and Medical Educators (AODME), is the first osteopathic physician to hold this distinguished position.

Most recently, Dr. Chaudhry was the Commissioner and CEO for the Suffolk County, NY, Department of Health Services. He also serves as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology (NYCOM) and Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook University School of Medicine.
