The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education is one of the first and largest THCGME organizations in the nation. This webinar will provide vision, victories and lessons related to their experience with THCGME and an opportunity to talk through THCGME thoughts, questions and ideas.

Dr. Ruddy will describe how The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education became so engaged with THCGME [vision], describe lessons learned in the maintenance of THCGME (from single accreditation to funding security) [lessons] and describe the impact on systems and communities of engaging with THCGME [victories].

Realizing our Potential as Healers: Professional Identity Formation

Join us for a joint webinar hosted by AOGME, the Academy for Professionalism in Health Care (APHC) and Professional Formation featuring Dr. Dennis H. Novack, Professor of Medicine and Associate Dean of Medical Education at Drexel University College of Medicine and the founder of Professional Formation. He will discuss the biopsychosocial model of medicine, how learners evolve through medical school, the physician charter, unprofessional behavior and how professional identity formation can mitigate those behaviors. Dr. Novack will discuss the elements of professional formation, such as self-awareness, reflective practice, personal growth and maturity, and what faculty can teach, learn and role-model to enhance professional identity formation.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to:
