ACGME Back to Bedside Initiative: Request for Proposals 

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) announces a request for proposals (RFP) for its Back to Bedside initiative. The initiative’s aim is to encourage residents and fellows to develop transformative projects to ultimately improve the clinical learning environment. Read the RFP and apply by March 15, 2019

Status of Applications to the ACGME

Table 1 provides a brief snapshot of the status of ACGME applications through the single accreditation system as of October 30, 2018. The data are pulled from the ACGME Accreditation Data System (ADS) public site. These data only capture applications of programs and institutions through the single accreditation system process and do not include programs that may have been previously ACGME accredited, such as dually-accredited programs.

Osteopathic Recognition: Application & ADS Updates

This webinar, featuring Tiffany Moss, MBA, Executive Director, Osteopathic Accreditation, ACGME, held on October 11, reviewed updates to the osteopathic recognition application and to the information collected in the ACGME ADS for programs with Osteopathic Recognition.
