Applications Update

Timeline from 2014 beginning to a single GME system in 2020

Status of Applications to the ACGME

Table 1 provides a brief snapshot of the status of ACGME applications through the single accreditation system as of January 30, 2019. The data are pulled from the ACGME Accreditation Data System (ADS) public site. These data only capture applications of programs and institutions through the single accreditation system process and do not include programs that may have been previously ACGME accredited, such as dually-accredited programs. Since December 19, 2018, 27 programs have either received initial or continued accreditation. This is due to the numerous ACGME review committee meetings held at the beginning of the year.

Table 1. Status of Applications as of January 30, 2019
