COSGP National Medical Education Representative
Hi all! My name is Hannah Glanz and I am an OMS-III at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine (DMU-COM) in Iowa. I am honored to serve as your National Medical Education Representative over this next year! I am a born-and-raised Iowan and earned my BS in Human Physiology from the University of Iowa in 2014, and my MS in Anatomy from DMU in 2018.
I have always been passionate about education and that passion drove me to pursue leadership opportunities within student government at DMU that would allow me to advocate for changes in medical education at the local level. Last year, as a member of the COSGP general council, I had the opportunity to be a part of the Med Ed Committee and begin my advocacy for medical education at the national level. Under great leadership, I was able to learn about where medical education stands currently and ways that we, as students, can shape the way it will look in the future.
I look forward to serving you all over this next year and cannot wait to get started! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or ideas you may have regarding medical education.
