COSGP National Global Health Representative
My name is Hayley Gorman and I am an OMS-III at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in New Mexico. I was born in Kansas City, MO but mainly grew up in a small town just outside Boston, MA. I attended San Diego State University and earned my degree in Cell Biology as well as completing a post-bac program at University of California, San Diego. I spent my gap year before medical school traveling and working as a clinic manager for an alternative medicine health clinic.
I am honored and very excited to serve as your National Global Health Representative this year. I have had a passion for global health that began in my early undergraduate years and has continued while in medical school. I have had the privilege to be a part of some great projects such as Global Medical Brigades, Students Heal, and WAVES for Development. I am also a co-founder of a student-run free medical clinic in Tijuana, Mexico in conjunction with the Flying Samaritans.
I cannot wait to accomplish some amazing goals this year with global health and work with the rest of the amazing council. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or anything you need.
