COSGP Legislative Representative
Hello! I’m a third-year osteopathic medical student at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. I did some diverse undergraduate studies at Arizona State University, where I studied Chinese and received my degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Biochemistry. I would have been happy to stay in school to learn languages, music, and more science (I even made a few robots along the way), but I am following my dream by becoming a physician.
This year I am incredibly excited to serve as COSGP’s Legislative Affairs Representative and put my not so secret hobby of listening to NPR and emailing my state legislators to use. I am a huge proponent of advocacy and it’s my goal this year to empower everyone to be able to advocate for themselves at the state and national level, I will provide as many tools as I can think of to make that happen. I’m honored to be working with the executive board, many of whom have already inspired so many, including myself.
I have an embarrassingly long list of inspiring quotes that I look at for daily motivation, here’s one that’s working for me today: “People become really quite remarkable when they start thinking that they can do things. When they believe in themselves, they have the first secret of success.” – Norman Vincent Peale
Just so you know, I believe in you, and every medical student’s ability to succeed.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions about our healthcare system, COSGP, or need some daily motivation, I am here to represent and aid you.
