“I first learned about osteopathic medicine as a senior in college, planning on attending allopathic school.  The moment I learned there was a more hands-on approach to medicine, I concluded that osteopathic medicine was the field for me.  I am thrilled to know that I will have an extra treatment modality to better serve my patients one day.

“Upon applying to osteopathic medical schools, WesternU/COMP-Northwest quickly became my first choice.  I loved the idea of attending a new school, paving the way for future students.  After interviewing at COMP-Northwest and meeting the incredible faculty, I immediately wanted to attend this school.  The positive attitudes and friendly spirit of our faculty are infectious.  I also chose COMP-Northwest because of its commitment to spreading osteopathic principles in the Northwest, an area where DOs are currently underrepresented.  I fully believe in the osteopathic philosophy and am ecstatic to be a student at COMP-Northwest.”
