“I am so proud to be a part of the osteopathic profession because one of our core beliefs is that the body has the power to heal itself. Medicine is always advancing and fascinating, but we are humble enough to admit that God's greatest creation (the human body) can do things that are just unexplainable by science. It is a privilege to be such an integral part in the healing process and have the opportunity to not only save, but also to touch people's lives. As osteopathic physicians, we can do everything in modern medicine possible, but we get to go a step further; we are taught from day one to treat the patient as a whole. Patients are not just their disease; they are human beings that must be cared for physically, emotionally and spiritually.

“I have the privilege of attending MSUCOM, an incredible institution. The atmosphere here is of camaraderie, not competition. I have had the blessing of being the Class of 2015 President and have gotten to know the hearts of the faculty and administration, and I can undoubtedly say that they pour everything they have into their students. It is also a special opportunity to be in the state that has the most osteopathic residencies and gives its students the best chances at being the type of physician they always dreamed of becoming."
