“Having an extensive background in dance and athletics, I formed a passion for health and fitness at an early age, before it became a career path.  This passion grew throughout my studies at Howard University, when I decided to become a Sports Medicine physician. With osteopathic medicine’s roots in manipulative treatment, I knew that becoming an osteopathic physician was the way to go; what could be better than being a “Sports Doc” who can treat with her hands?  PCOM’s reputation, campus and community made it the clear choice.

“As both a student and a leader at PCOM, I have had the unique honor of viewing the campus community from multiple perspectives. PCOM is committed to nurturing a diverse, challenging and uplifting environment for its students. Never satisfied with a finished task, we are always working to make our school, community and profession better. This work aligns perfectly with my primary goals in health care: serving my community and mentoring future physicians. PCOM is helping me achieve my dream—for that I am forever grateful.”
