Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine – California

“I consider myself fortunate to have had a few twists and turns along my path to medical school.  I never predicted that I would attend Scripps College, a small women's liberal arts college, or that I would graduate early and take some time off before applying to medical school.  In the two years before I came to TUCOM, I had the opportunity to work in a lab and to volunteer in an assisted living facility and a children's hospital.  On my first day of school at TUCOM, I still was not quite sure what osteopathic manipulation would be like or if I would like it, but I am grateful that the admissions committee took a chance on me despite this.  I feel I have found my niche at TUCOM and know that manipulation will be an invaluable part of my medical practice.”
