“Osteopathic medicine encompasses what it truly means to be a physician; that is, to treat the ‘whole’ patient.  I would not want to learn medicine any other way.  Because of my undergraduate university’s small campus size, it was easy to create a close-knit, family-like relationship with many people.  I was looking for similar things as I progressed to graduate school.  KCUMB possesses many of the same qualities, and is where I finished my graduate studies.  I am currently attending KCUMB’s College of Medicine as a second-year medical student.  I hope to make a difference by establishing a meaningful relationship with each and every one of my future patients along with giving back to my community in whatever way possible, as a token of my gratitude.”
