Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – New York

Undergraduate Studies: BS in Biology; minor in Chemistry, University of Toledo

“I have always believed that illness and disease weren’t only manifestations of the particular site or organ involved, but that they also had widespread bodily effects. Because the osteopathic community also believes in this “mind-body-spirit” perspective, it was the perfect fit for me.

“TouroCOM is unlike any other medical school, and when I interviewed here, I knew that it would be ‘the one’ for me. Touro is very invested in its students, not only academically, but also personally. Touro feels like a family, and I think that that is something that medical students need – someone else to rely on when the going gets rough.

“I want to be a family physician in a rural underserved area.”
