“Being from Montana, it was natural for me to pursue osteopathic medicine with its special attention to rural and underserved populations. KCOM, the birthplace of osteopathic medicine, was my first choice and is the school against which all others are compared.
“KCOM offers more than just osteopathic medicine. Prior to matriculating into the DO program, I earned a master’s degree in biomedical science from KCOM. My graduate education prepared me well for medical school and further encouraged my pursuit of a career in osteopathic medicine.
“Along with its renowned tradition, KCOM also strives to stay at the forefront of medical education. KCOM integrates learning tools and materials that accommodate the digital age, and is also one of the first schools to implement ultrasound technology into the academic curriculum. Once I’ve graduated, I will proudly serve my patients with the skills and compassion taught to me at KCOM.”
